Special order items
Throughout this website you will find items listed that have the prefix “*SO*” in the description. These items are Special order only items.
Special Order items are not normally kept in stock however we are happy to order them for you.
Manufacturing and Shipping periods:
Depending on who manufactures or supplies the Special Order part will determine how long the item will take before it is available to collect or to be shipped to you. For example:
TMI: Production lead time is normally approx 10 weeks + shipping time (various options available).
EMPI: Small items approx 3-4 weeks. Please contact us for availability times on large items.
AA Performance: Smaller items approx 2-3 weeks. Please contact us for availability times on large items.
VW Classic Parts: 3-4 weeks depending on storage Warehouse in Germany. Larger items may take longer.
We recommend that you inquire with us regarding availability and shipping delays prior to ordering so that we can confirm that the item is indeed available and we can update you on the expected delivery date.
If you are not in a hurry for your special order part we may be able to use a less expensive shipping method. Please contact us to discuss this option further.
Deposit:
All special order items require a 50% deposit to be paid to confirm the order. We will not place an order without the deposit having been made.
Returns and refunds:
Special order items are not able to be returned unless faulty so please ensure that you are ordering the correct part before arranging payment for the deposit.
