How to order your VW Classic Parts
To make this process as simple as possible follow these steps:
1 - Locate the part number
The part number will normally be stamped or printed on the part that you are replacing. Normally the part number will be 9 digits long and may have a letter or two on the end. Don't get this number confused with a casting number which can be found on some parts and will have a different form or length.
2 - Search for the part number

The part number should be an exact match - often you will find products with other letters after the part number. This indicates a different version of the same part. Whilst VW do sometimes supersede parts with an improved version, giving the new version a different letter, it is also very possible that a part with a different letter on the end of the part number is for a different model. Please note that all parts ordered from VW Classic Parts are special order items and cannot be returned unless faulty.
3 - Place the order
If VW Classic Parts are showing the item you require in stock simply call or email us with the part number and quantity you require.
We will arrange a quote in Australian dollars which will include the cost of freight from the VW Classic Parts warehouse to our shop. If you are happy with this quote simply arrange payment of the total amount of the quote to confirm the order. Any additional local freight costs will be payable once the part is in stock.
In most cases orders may take 3-4 weeks from the date of confirmation to arrive at our shop. Sometimes parts are stored by VW Classic Parts in remote warehouses and could take longer to arrive. Unfortunately we cannot predict this delay when ordering.
